OUR STORY.
In 1996 our family moved to North Carolina. This was our first time having access to indoor toilets and electricity. It also meant a good education and countless opportunities. Little Legs was built from those opportunities taken. Today, we hope to create them for children whose circumstances offer them very little to none. With every purchase made for your little one, you are contributing to another child's needs.
GLOBAL POVERTY.
Typically, it means a life of struggle, little to no access to school, not being able to afford a doctor — ever. It means no electricity, and in many cases, no food on the table. In the poorest countries where many people lack access to clean water and sanitation, it means the spread of preventable diseases and the unnecessary death of children to starvation and water-related diseases.
